At just 23, Devon Lewis of Neptune, NJ, tragically passed away after a severe asthma attack. In the midst of heartbreak, his family generously chose to share the gift of life with those in need.

Devon’s kidneys restored hope for a 24-year-old and a 61-year-old, giving them the chance to live fuller, healthier lives. His heart, liver, and tissue donations also changed countless others’ lives.

“Devon became a hero by saving the lives of others. His spirit and memory will live on forever. By donating organs and tissue, you can save up to 8 lives and improve the lives of as many as 75. There is a great need in the United States for donations. Be someone's hero like Devon is a hero to us and others!"

— Karen Lucas, mother of organ and tissue donor, Devon
