Subject: Addressing the Impact of COVID-19

The increased risk in our area associated with the COVID-19 pandemic has greatly impacted our day-to-day lives.

Here at NJ Sharing Network, our clinical team and hospital partners are continuing their tireless and brave efforts to save and enhance lives. However, we will be suspending all in-person events and programs through April 30 to protect the health and well-being of our volunteers, supporters, partners and staff. Stay tuned for plans to celebrate Donate Life Month “virtually” throughout the month of April.

We are closely monitoring state and federal agencies, along with guidance from our own medical experts, to stay informed. As is always the case, the health and well-being of our donation and transplant family is highest priority, and decisions that could impact that will be made with careful and thoughtful consideration. In the coming weeks, we will reassess the situation to ensure that our future schedule of events can be safely conducted, including our 5K Celebration of Life.

We are all hopeful that the COVID-19 pandemic will soon be contained, and we look forward to working with you soon to continue our outreach efforts.

Thank you again for your continued advocacy and support of our life-saving mission.
