National Donate Life Month (NDLM) features an entire month of activities to help encourage people to register as organ and tissue donors and to honor those who have saved lives through the gift of donation.

Hospitals, big and small, are invited to join the Hospital Campaign and earn HRSA/DoNation points. Become a part of the initiative that has encouraged over 630,000 Americans to register as organ donors since 2011, and help create a donation-friendly culture in your hospital using our free tools and resources.

During National Donate Life Month we are encouraging people to register as organ and tissue donors by distributing custom coffee sleeves, table tents and posters to our hospital partners and restaurants, coffee shops and cafes throughout NJ. All materials are free of charge. Please speak with your NJ Sharing Network Hospital Services Manager to participate!

All materials will be delivered by April 1, 2023.

Important Donation Awareness Days

Donate Life Living Donor Day
April 5, 2023

Donate Life Living Donor Day is a celebration to honor living organ donors for saving and healing lives! In 2022, more than 6,500 people made the decision to give one of their kidneys or a part of their liver to someone waiting for a second chance at life. Thank you to all living donors for your remarkable generosity!

Our Foundation and Team Liberty will be hosting an in-person reception for living donors at our headquarters on April 3 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. If you are a living donor and interested in attending, contactus@sharingnetworkfoundation.org.

To our transplant centers partners, please share this upcoming event info with your living donors.

Blue & Green Spirit Week Begins April 8, 2023

Donor Remembrance Day
April 30, 2023

Donor Remembrance Day is a day in which we all come together to honor and celebrate our Donor Heroes who have given the gift of life through organ, tissue, and eye donation.

Together we “plant” forget-me-not flowers in the AOPO Donor Hero Remembrance Garden (link to be added soon) to symbolize that these heroes and their gifts will always be remembered.

Recognize a donation champion with a custom social media post

Do you have a staff member who is dedicated and passionate about organ and tissue donation? We'd be happy to send you a customized image honoring your donation champion to share on your organization's social media pages.

Simply email us a photo (JPG or PNG) with the name and title of your champion and if you would like to include your hospital logo in the graphic, please include a transparent version.
